Hello

We're dance teachers too!

We love sharing the many ways My Ballet Buddy Book

resources can become a special part of your dance studio.

Ways to Use My Ballet Buddy Book in Your Studio

In Class

  • Teaching aid for preschool and junior ballet classes — use the storybooks to introduce ballet stories, characters, mime and simple classical ballet concepts.

  • Themed ballet lessons — build a class around The Nutcracker or The Sleeping Beauty, using the story, movements and characters as inspiration.

  • Storytime and movement sessions — read part of the story, then bring it to life through mime, movement and simple ballet exercises.

  • Reinforcing ballet stories, mime and terminology — use the books to help children connect the movements they are learning with the stories, characters and language of classical ballet.

Around the Studio

  • Studio waiting area or library — give younger dancers something engaging and ballet-related to look through before or after class.

  • Quiet-time activities — use the resources during breaks, workshops, special studio days or quieter moments.

  • Activity Books, Colouring Books and Memory Card Games — provide fun, ballet-themed activities that children can enjoy independently or together.

  • Welcome or enrolment packs — include a book or resource as a special addition for younger dancers joining the studio.

Special Events & Workshops

  • Holiday workshops and ballet camps — use the books, Activity Books, Colouring Books and games as part of a themed workshop program.

  • Concert or recital preparation — especially useful when your studio is performing The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty or another classical ballet, helping children understand the story and characters behind what they are dancing.

  • Backstage - keep your youngest students entertained with books, colouring in, activity books and card games.

  • Themed studio days — create a special ballet day around a story, character or classical ballet.

  • Student gifts, prizes and concert presents — ideal for end-of-year gifts, achievement awards, concert gifts or special occasions.

For Families & Retail

  • Home learning — encourage students to continue exploring ballet stories, terminology and activities outside the studio.

  • Books and resources for studio families — offer families a way to continue their child’s interest in ballet at home.

  • Retail products for studios — studios can offer the books and companion resources directly to families as an additional service and potential source of income.

  • Helping children build a deeper connection with classical ballet — the combination of storytelling, movement and play can help young dancers connect with ballet beyond simply learning the steps.

Whether you would like resources to use in your own classes, gifts for your students, or books to offer to your studio families, we would love to help.
