At My Ballet Buddy Books, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains your rights and our obligations regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product you purchase is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet consumer guarantees.

2. Returns & Refunds Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund or exchange if:

  • The item is faulty, damaged, or defective.

  • The item does not match its description.

  • The item fails to perform as expected under normal use.

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind after purchase (unless we choose to at our discretion).

  • Normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse or neglect.

  • Digital downloads or personalised items, unless faulty.

3. Timeframe for Returns

  • If you believe your item is faulty or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Proof of purchase (such as an order number or receipt) is required.

4. Process for Refunds or Exchanges

  1. Contact us at myballetbuddybooks@gmail.com with your order details and reason for return.

  2. We may ask you to provide photographs of the product or return the item to us.

  3. Once approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  4. For exchanges, we will ship the replacement item once the return is received and inspected.

5. Shipping Costs

  • If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

  • If returning an item for any other approved reason, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

6. International Orders

For international customers, the same rights apply under the ACL for faulty or misrepresented products. Please note that return shipping times and costs may vary.
